Letter from the EAST REGION HOCKEY ASSOCIATION

Letter from the EAST REGION HOCKEY ASSOCIATION

This genuinely is a once in a generation opportunity.

Hi All,

All clubs have been sent an email via the Hon Secretary on the Clubs section of the East League website, but also to the Men's and Women's Liaison officers and we hope that they will share the contents with all members.

As you are aware from the recent mail to you the new League Structure for both Men's and Women's Leagues have been agreed for the 2021/22 season and has been advised to all clubs and posted to the website.

From that you will know that the England Hockey AGM Proposal titled "Structure for the Future" was voted through at the England Hockey AGM, so now there is a lot of work to do before the 2021/22 season.

With that in mind please find attached a briefing letter from the East Region Hockey Association Deputy President Ali Wardale.

The letter aims to provide an introduction to the East Governance changes which gives clubs (and individuals) the opportunity to submit questions or volunteer to get involved in this major transition project, which will really help shape the future of our sport.

This genuinely is a once in a generation opportunity.

If you wish to ask any questions (and they are non-League related) or want you to get involved then please address them to Ali directly at all then you should send them directly to erhatransition@gmail.com.

If your questions are League related please send the questions to Neil our East League Secretary in the usual way.

Please find the letter here
